Congress venue
The International Shock Congress 2008 will take place at the Gürzenich Convention Centre, located in the heart of the city centre with the most congress hotels within walking distance. The venue offers first class facilities with state of the art technical support for scientific sessions and exhibitors.

The trade exhibition will be important for the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry. The exhibition will be situated in the zones B, F, and G.

Exhibition area / Booth crew members
The coffee and lunch bars, the poster viewing the registration counter and the Internet Café will be in the trade exhibition area. The exhibitors can pick up their badges at the registration desk.

- 3 booth crew badges per 10 – 12 sqm
- 5 booth crew badges over 12 sqm

Prices of registration for a booth, sponsoring, advertisement and a symposium
Please keep in mind, that all listed prices are net prices, without VAT (valued added tax). The VAT in Germany is 19%
Terms of payment
The invoice for participation charges will be sent to the exhibitor together with, or subsequent to, the confirmation of admission and the allocation of space. All complaints must be submitted in writing immediately upon receipt of the invoice. Objections raised at a later date shall not be taken into consideration. Upon receipt, the invoice issued by profMed GmbH Cologne is payable immediately without deduction. Invoices for miscellaneous services or supplies ordered separately are payable with immediate effect, i.e. usually before the relevant show commences, but at the latest at the time the service is provided or the items supplied. If the exhibitor gives instructions to render accounts to a third party, the exhibitor still remains the debtor. Remittances should be endorsed with the invoice number, marked “Shock2008” and made payable to:

Cancellation and Refund
Notification of cancellation or reduction of booked Sponsor package(s) and exhibition booth must be submitted in writing to profMed GmbH. Cancellation or reduction will be accepted until February 15th, 2008 with a refund of the total fee less 25% administration fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations or reductions after February 15th, 2008. Refunds will be delivered after the congress.
